Common Login Issues & Fixes

Encountering an error can be frustrating, but don't worry, we're here to help!

Error code: SWB-141

Here are a couple of reasons why you might be experiencing this issue:

  1. A blocked license; 
  2. A canceled subscription. 

To get to the bottom of things, simply log into your Pixellu Account and head over to the Subscriptions + Billing tab. 

If your subscription shows as canceled, click on Billing History and see if your latest invoice has been overdue for more than 30 days. If it's less than 30 days overdue, you can go ahead and make the payment. Once that's done, reach out to us, and we'll happily reactivate your subscription for you.

Now, if the invoice has been overdue for more than 30 days, unfortunately, we won't be able to reactivate that particular subscription. But not to worry! You can simply hop onto our website and purchase a new subscription from there.

If your subscription appears to be active, send us an email at support@pixellu.com, and we'll work on unblocking the license for you.

Error code: SWB- 122

Let's make sure everything is up to date and in order:

  1. Update SmartAlbums: Ensure you have the latest version of SmartAlbums installed. If not, no worries! You can easily download it here.
  2. Check Your Subscription: Let's confirm whether you have an active SmartAlbums account tied to the email you're using. Simply log into your Pixellu Account and navigate to Subscriptions + Billing. There, you'll find all the info you need. If you don't have an active subscription, you can easily purchase it on our website.

Error code: SWB- 188

It looks like SmartAlbums is already activated on the maximum number of computers allowed for your license, which is two. To activate it on a new computer, you'll first need to deactivate it on one of the existing ones. 

Simply follow the steps outlined here, and you'll be able to free up a slot for your new computer.

Error code: API- 1

Here's what you can do to resolve it:

  1. Close and Reopen SmartAlbums: Start by closing down SmartAlbums completely and then reopening it. Sometimes, a simple restart can do the trick.
  2. Run the Clean-up Script: If the error persists after reopening SmartAlbums, try running our clean-up script. This script helps resolve various issues that might be causing the error. Once you've run the script, try activating SmartAlbums again.

By following these steps, you should be able to get past the error and continue using SmartAlbums smoothly. 

Error code: API- 3

If you encounter this error:

  1. Check Your Subscription: First things first, head over to your Pixellu Account to confirm whether you have an active subscription under your email. This will ensure that your account is in good standing.
  2. Run the Clean-up Script: If your subscription is active but you're still facing the error, try running our clean-up script. This script helps resolve various issues that might be causing the activation error.

After running the clean-up script, give it another shot and try activating SmartAlbums again.

Error code: API- 5 and Error code: GQL- 3

If you encounter this error, here's a quick fix to try:

1. Run the Clean-up Script: Start by running our clean-up script and try activating SmartAlbums again.
