How to Activate SmartAlbums

After purchasing a SmartAlbums subscription and installing the software, you'll need to activate it using your Pixellu account credentials.

Before you begin:

• Ensure SmartAlbums version 2023.5.0 or later is installed (click here to download the latest version)
• Have your Pixellu account email and password ready
• Product keys are no longer required for activation

To activate SmartAlbums:

1. Open SmartAlbums on your computer
2. When prompted, enter your Pixellu account email address and password
3. Click Sign In or Activate
4. SmartAlbums will verify your credentials and activate automatically
5. Once activated, SmartAlbums will open and you can start designing

That's it! Your SmartAlbums software is now activated and ready to use.

How many computers can I activate? Your SmartAlbums subscription allows activation on 2 computers simultaneously. You can deactivate one computer to activate another if needed.

Troubleshooting

SmartAlbums didn't open automatically after activation

• Close and reopen SmartAlbums manually
• Restart your computer if the issue persists

Login failed or credentials not recognized

• Verify you're using the correct email address associated with your Pixellu account
• Check that Caps Lock is off when entering your password
• Verify your subscription is active in your Pixellu account

Activating without internet connection

• SmartAlbums requires an internet connection for initial activation
• After activation, you can work offline
• Periodic internet connection is needed to verify your subscription status
