Expired Music
Pixellu may need to remove certain music options from SmartSlides if our partnership and/or licensing agreement with a music provider ends. When expired music is removed, existing slideshows will be affected in the following ways:
- Unpublished slideshows that have expired music selected for segments will not be able to be published until the expired music is replaced.
- Published slideshows using music that is scheduled for removal will not be affected after music removal is complete. However, if you choose to replace expired music in your slideshow and publish the changes, it will not be possible to revert your slideshow back to the way that it was before.
- If you have a published slideshow that is using expired music in a segment and you choose to replace it, you will still be able to revert your slideshow back to retrieve the expired music. This can only be done if you do not publish the new changes to your slideshow. You can revert your slideshow back to the way it was when it was last published by choosing this option:
Note: The "Revert Changes" option will only appear after new, unpublished changes are added to an already published slideshow - this option will not appear for slideshows that have never been published. Slideshows can only be reverted to the last version that was published.
How will I know when music is scheduled to be removed?
Those who are using music that becomes scheduled for removal will receive an email notification 30 days prior to music removal. Please contact us via support@smartslides.com or by using the live chat feature within SmartSlides or our Help Center if you'd like to see a full list of songs that are scheduled for removal.
