Why does my downloaded slideshow not have the opening page that my online slideshow has?

The opening slideshow window that has the title, logo, and theme is not currently available for downloaded slideshows:

This is because the opening slideshow window is only used to begin playback online, which would not be possible for viewers to do on a downloaded video file. 

While this option is not available in SmartSlides, we are aware that some users would like to see an opening image for downloaded slideshows. Adding such an option, whether it's exactly like the preview image shown in the online version or something similar, will be considered for a future update.
