How are images sorted?

When Images are uploaded into SmartSlides, the photos will automatically be sorted by filename. Once all images have been uploaded, you can use the following sorting options to arrange your pictures within the slideshow:

Manual sorting

Once the images are uploaded to SmartSlides, you can manually sort them in the Slideshow Editor window by dragging and dropping them to the desired position and even moving them to a different segment if you are using more than one song.

Date Taken

This sorting option will automatically sort images by reading the metadata of the image files and arrange them by date taken.

Shuffle

Using this option will place the images in random order.
